RESUME OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Ms. Feingold has been an oncology consultant since 1990, and has worked in two consulting firms prior to starting Crossroads Cancer Consulting. Her experience in oncology consulting has ranged from large strategic planning projects in major teaching hospitals to program assessment, market analysis and strategic planning in community hospitals of all sizes. Because of recent trends in the integration of hospitals into large systems, and increased interest in the development of integrated oncology programs and networks, in recent years, Ms. Feingold has provided consulting support to many types of integrated oncology programs. Other projects include oncology benchmarking, quality improvement through pathway development and use of guidelines, market analysis on both local and regional levels, and analyses in support of specialty or "niche" program development. Prior to entering consulting, Ms. Feingold was Vice President, Medical Affairs at St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles, a large tertiary facility with a medical staff of 600. Her responsibilities included medical staff credentialing, quality review, utilization management, risk management, and staffing of the Bioethics Committee and Institutional Review Board. Ms. Feingold served as Administrative Director of the St. Vincent Medical Center Community Hospital Oncology Program (CHOP), an NCI-funded community cancer control demonstration project, successfully competed for and developed St. Vincent's Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP), and also administered an American Cancer Society grant for development of a model cancer rehabilitation program in a community hospital. She also administered community outreach programs at the University of Southern California Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. Ms. Feingold has a Bachelor's degree from the University of California and a Master's degree in Public Administration, Health Services Specialization, from the University of Southern California. |
